  • What are MaxCare Priority Professional Services?
    MaxCare is a comprehensive level of optional services that provides ongoing support from the consultants, designers, marketers, engineers and developers who know eCommerce and MaxEXP® software the best. Our eCommerce experts become an extension of your team and provide the services that are essential for keeping your business growing.   • What is a Business Requirement Document (BRD)?
    The Business Requirements Document (BRD) details the business solution for a project including the documentation of customer needs and expectations.

    The BRD is the first step on your way to a high performance website powered by MaxEXP®. In order to define the BRD, the San Diego Media team will facilitate 2-3 workshops that will guide you in defining the most common objectives including:
    • Project scope agreement between stakeholders
    • Discovering and determining the solution needed to fulfill and satisfy the customers business' needs
    • Establishing budgets, timelines and milestones
  • Will MaxEXP® Support B2C, B2B or Both?
    MaxEXP® comes equipped with many tools and features to handle both Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business driven eCommerce experiences. MaxEXP includes incredible flexibility and control when it comes to product pricing, stock notifications, payment options, shipping rules, and many other facets of multi-channel ecommerce.
  • Does MaxEXP® Support Mobile eCommerce?
    Yes. As mobile web devices become more prevalent and more powerful it is important that your eCommerce site(s) support this growing demographic of web users. MaxEXP® handles support for mobile devices and we can customize a solution that fits your company's particular needs.
  • What Does the MaxEXP® eCommerce System Cost?
    MaxEXP® is offered at a variety of pricing and service models depending on the specific needs and requirements of each client. Basic monthly fees begin at $1,995 depending on a client's need for ongoing professional services. Enterprise implementation fees begin at $38,500 + integrations.

    MaxEXP absolutely does not charge for:
    • Transaction fees
    • Data storage fees
    • Bandwidth usage fees
    • Fees associated with revenue or orders
    • Multiple employee access

    There may be additional costs associated with software support and infrastructure management, including certain email fees and optional licenses involved. All costs and known fee structures will be clearly identified during a BRD workshop and presented in detail upon completion of the BRD.
  • Will My Data be Safe and Secure?
    San Diego Media takes data security, disaster prevention, and disaster recovery very seriously. We are fully PCI compliant. Contact us to learn the specifics of how we keep your data and your customers' data safe and secure at all times.
  • Is MaxEXP® Customizable?
    One of the strengths of MaxEXP® is the ability to customize and build out unique solutions that provide clear advantages for each of our clients. We strive to stay on top of new trends and technology so that our clients can stay competitive. We stay fresh by updating MaxEXP with new features and/or enhancements every 60 days.
  • Does MaxEXP® Support My Current ERP/Accounting/Order Management System?
    The MaxEXP® Integration Framework is compatible with most inventory, management and accounting systems, including MAS 90, MAS 200, MAS 500, Epicor, SAP, Syspro, Sigma, IBM AS/400 driven system, Stone Edge and QuickBooks. If your system is not on this list we are confident we will be able to support which ever system you currently run.
  • Does MaxEXP® Support Multiple Stores?
    MaxEXP® has support for additional stores as well as microsites, landing pages and many other multi-site tools and features. There is a small cost for additional stores - $1000 per store, per month - plus development/implementation costs. There are no additional monthly fees for micro-sites supporting your core eCommerce business.
  • Does MaxEXP® Limit My Number of SKUs?
    MaxEXP® supports an unlimited number of product SKUs.
  • Does MaxEXP® Support Drop Shipping?
    MaxEXP® boasts a robust drop shipping tools that empowers retailers to streamline their fulfillment processes and work with multiple distributors.

    In addition to supporting PayPal Checkout, Google Checkout and Amazon Payments MaxEXP® also supports guest checkout options.

    MaxEXP® provides highly dynamic, personalized and white-listed emails for superior delivery and support. Through our optional ExactTarget integration, the MaxEXP email system also includes exceptional list segmentation and list management tools.
  • How Long Will It Take to Move to MaxEXP?
    Re-platforming to MaxEXP® can be completed in 90-180 days depending on the project specifications and client needs.
  • Is MaxEXP® Easy to Use?
    Training is provided for every MaxEXP® client during the development of the project as well as on going training once you are up and running. Because of the many functions and control that come with MaxEXP, training is highly recommended.
