San Diego Media has developed tools and features that enable web sites to fully support Canadian customers. MaxEXP includes specific support for the Canadian tax system and accommodates for the dual tax rates that companies in Canada must collect for each province. During each step in the checkout process both the GST and PST tax rates are dynamically calculated and displayed to the user.
In addition San Diego Media has also integrated with a new UPS module that allows shipping costs to be calculated for fulfillment houses located in Canada. During the checkout, MaxEXP determines which UPS module to employ based on the customer's shipping address.
For companies based in Canada, MaxEXP has also added Moneris as a payment gateway option. Moneris is the preferred payment gateway in Canada.
