Home Controls, a San Diego Media client since 2003, decided it was time to take their web presence to the next level. The leader in home automation, Home Controls wanted a streamlined web site where they could really show off their extensive product line. After a comprehensive strategy and planning process Home Controls launched their new site in June of 2009.
Results
The new web site offers customers a slicker, faster interface with easy to use navigation. Throughout the site, customers can easily and quickly see their product recommendations, recently viewed categories and products and other information.
In addition to streamlined navigation, HCI worked with San Diego Media to add sorting and filtering options throughout their product listing and search result pages so customers could find what they were looking for even faster.
Larger product images and ratings and reviews on products now offer customers even more information when making a purchasing decision. The new web sites also experiences increased traffic with the addition of search engine optimized urls. Each pages url has unique keywords specifically chosen for that page to improve search engine ranking.
