Data Security
San Diego Media's technical controls prevent inadvertent

- Database security is ensured by secure user logins, state-of-the-art firewalls, and consistent database back-ups.

San Diego Media is committed to providing privacy for our clients and web site visitors. We promote the tenets of permission-based marketing and privacy among our partners and employees.

Data Back-up Procedures
San Diego Media has instituted a rigorous back up schedule
to ensure that data is always available for clients.
There are several steps in our back-up process:
- The database is backed up every three hours
- A differential backup of all systems is performed daily
- A full back up of all systems is performed weekly. These back ups are taken off site for storage and rotated on the appropriate basis.
At all times a member of the technical support team monitors our application environment and should any issues arise, they are notified by pager. The production environment is reviewed on a daily basis to ensure that systems are performing optimally and that proactive measures are taken to ensure the uptime of the system.
Disaster recovery is reviewed and tested quarterly, as well as any time a change is made to the production environment, which ensures that all pieces of the procedure are correct and current. Any discrepancies are noted and the Systems Procedures document is updated appropriately. Our hosting environment provides redundant telecommunication infrastructure and redundant power sources to ensure that we can provide the uptime to meet our clients' needs. We also have redundancies built into our system hardware environment to alleviate any possibility of a single piece of hardware causing our systems to function incorrectly.
