Web Production Professional -- eCommerce Specialist (Scripps Ranch)
San Diego Media is an established eCommerce software and email marketing company. We provide both technical and online marketing services for our clients. The work can be challenging, the environment is fast paced. Our team must be comfortable shifting its focus and balancing its priorities between large new projects, and ongoing projects/tasks for our existing clients - several times a day.
The San Diego Media business model covers three different areas.
1. Developing and managing new eCommerce operations
2. Developing and managing responsive email campaigns and product merchandising
3. Marketing, maintaining, and supporting these projects once they are live
San Diego Media is seeking an experienced Web Production Professional -- eCommerce Specialist who demonstrates organizational skills and has a keen attention to detail. We are only interested in adding staff that is passionate about their work and sincerely need to have their efforts make a difference. *This position is open to part-time, full-time or contract work.
Job Requirements
• 5 years of experience in website design and development required
• Expert level experience with Front-End Web development utilizing HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, CSS Responsive
• Must be strong in JavaScript, jquery | ajax, json and JavaScript Frameworks, Bootstrap, Email Frameworks or tools for creation of the responsive marketing emails
• Expert level experience working with Content Management Systems
• Strong knowledge of Media Queries (Responsive Design)
• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Must be able to multi task and respond to short deadlines
• Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have excellent understanding of web usability and design interaction principles
• Must be self-motivating and able to work well as part of a team
• Online portfolio or links to examples of work required
Bonuses:

• Experience with Bigcommerce, Magento, Shopify or others eCommerce platforms
• Experience with Perl, PostgreSQL, PHP, Node.js
• Skilled in bug isolation, bug report writing and troubleshooting
